The illustrations and photographs are useful and accurate. The text, hmmm. Not quite so good. There are errors in layout (captions say one plane, picture is of something quite else), and the writing and design are out of sync;
This is a guide to the warplanes of World War II. It is aimed at anyone interested in discovering more about the machines that contested the skies between 1939 and 1945.
